Anthony Maddonni

Anthony Maddonni, 79, a life long resident of Norristown, passed away on Monday.  He was the husband of Catharine (Nungesser) for 41 years.  He was the son of the late Anthony & Thelma (Roth) Maddonni.   
He attended West Point Academy.  He worked as a Service Tech for many years at Sears.  "Tony" was the owner of Anthony's Cards & Gifts & was very active in the West End Business Assoc.  
His passion for music started at a young age, he played drums for many local bands, & formed his own trio "The Musicmen". 
He was a Past Patron of Eastern Star, a member of LuLu Temple & the local Tall Cedars, & a member of Lodge 190. 
He was preceded in death by a daughter Nancy, and a son Anthony.  Surviving are 3 daughters, Joyce(Bruce)Lightle, Sandra (Ron) Follineiler & Patty Munsey. Stepchildren Cathy, Linda, Brenda, Anna, Steven and Rosemarie. Seven grandchildren, Heather, Danielle, Tammy, Brandon, Rachel, Brenda & Allison.  Five great grand children, Ryan, Olivia, Cara, Alexandria & Anthony. 
Visitation will be held on Friday from 10am -11:30am followed by services at 11:30 at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 1441 Pine St. Norristown.

In Lieu of flowers family request memorial contributions to be made to the St.Jude Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe funeral home.
