Concetta Catanzaro

Concetta (Segreto) Catanzaro passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017. She was 86. Mrs. Catanzaro of East Norriton was a member of Holy Saviour church, the church choir, and Figli Di Maria. She earned a degree as a clothing designer making clothes for four different US presidents while employed at local clothing factory. She also enjoyed cooking and gardening. Concetta  was born in Sciacca, Italy on August 29, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Luigi and  Accursia (Cirrotta) Segreto. She was the wife of the late Vito Catanzaro. Surviving are two sons, Vince Catanzaro, Lou ( Andrea R. Winnemore) Catanzaro, Daughter Joanna (Ken) Laskey. Three grandchildren, Concetta Rose (Wayne) Gibson, Kenneth Charles Jr. (Victoria Jackson) Laskey, Gabriel Vito Laskey, one great grandchild Logan Charles Laskey, and a sister, Vincenza.
Relatives and  Friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Wednesday, October 18 at 10 AM at Holy Saviour Church, Norristown.
Burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM and Wednesday from 8:15 to 9:15 AM at the Volpe funeral home. Family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor, to the "Verdi Band of Norristown" 8 W. Township Line Rd., Norristown PA 19401 or in the form of mass cards.
