Deborah Lynn Lara

Deborah Lynn (Kuehling) Lara, was born May 2nd, 1959 in Fort Worth, TX. She graduated from Nolan Catholic High School and married Mark Ermenio Lara on September 27th, 1977; their only child, Monica Alexis Lara was born April 1st, 1983. Though they were both born and raised in Texas, Mark & Debbie were adventurers and visited most of the United States and several European countries during their 40 years of marriage. Deb worked hard to support her family in a variety of careers, including owning and operating "Taco Tex" with Mark in Oswego, NY. She enjoyed country and jazz concerts, exploring new foods, and spoiling her many nieces, nephews, and eventually their babies too! Debbie also devoted herself to providing her child, Monica, with many exciting opportunities, including organizing and fundraising for a Girl Scout trip to the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, GA. 

Our beloved mother, wife, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017. She is survived by her mother, sister, husband, daughter & daughter-in-law as well as many family and friends. 

Services will be held in Pennsylvania and Texas. Our family asks that you please donate to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Harvey relief in lieu of sending flowers.
