Giovanna D'Alessandro

Giovanna (DeNigris) D'Alessandro passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017. She was 84. Mrs. D'Alessandro of Jeffersonville was a retired seamstress. She was a member of St. Francis of Asissi Church. Giovanna was kind loving person who enjoyed cooking for her family. She will be missed. She was born in Taranto, Italy on July 24, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Palermo)DeNigris. She was the wife of the late Savino D'Alessandro and companion to Nicholas Diuccio.  Also survived by a brother Tony and many nieces and nephews Predeceased by her son Nicola and daughter Lucia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Thursday, February 2 at 10:30 am in St. Francis of Asissi Church, Norristown. Burial Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday after 9:30 AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers family request memorial contributions to the Crossroads hospice at www.crossroadshospice.com. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe funeral home.
