James F. Scheetz

James F. Scheetz, a retired swimming pool service owner and oil truck driver of Plymouth Meeting passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.  He was 78 years old, born in Norristown, Pennsylvania.  He was the son of the late Fred and Marie (nee Deegan) Scheetz. Jimbo enjoyed cooking, playing scratch-off tickets, fishing, but most of all his gardens, sharing his tomatoes, peppers, and 6 - 12 foot long zucchinis with friends and neighbors.  He loved being outside in the sun tending to his house and yard.He was a loving and devoted son, father, brother and friend.  Always willing to lend a hand or offer a beer to anyone in need. James is survived by his daughter, Christine Scheetz-Kirk of Plymouth Meeting.  His two sisters, MaryLou (Raymond, deceased) Salamone of Trappe and Jane (Joseph) Paschal of Avalon, NJ; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his three brothers Frederick, Joseph and William Scheetz.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Christine Kirk.
