Jane A. (Picard) Lepera passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in Norristown. She was 66. Jane was born in Norristown on July 21, 1950 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy (Ambirge) Picard. She was a 1968 graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School. She married Paul Lepera Sr. on June 26, 1971. She was a recently retired cook for the Norristown Area School District where she worked for 25 years. Mrs. Lepera was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was also a member of the Padre PioFoundation, St. Anthony of Padua, and St. Theresa of the Little Flower. Jane enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, cooking, and going to the casino. She was a very spiritual woman and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Lepera Sr. Also surviving are her two sons, Paul (Antonia) Lepera Jr., and Matthew (Marisa) Lepera. One daughter Loyann Lepera. Two sisters Jacqueline Cross and Suzanne Van Buskirk. Two grandchildren Gabriel and Adriana.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Monday, August 15 at 11:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Norristown. Friends may call Monday from 10:30am to 11:30am at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in the form of mass cards. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe funeral home.
