Joseph E. McMonagle Jr.

Joseph E. McMonagle, Jr. passed away on June 11, 2017 at the age of 84.  Joe was born on March 10, 1933 in Norristown.  He was the son of Joseph McMonagle and Emily Furlong (McMonagle).  He is survived by two sons, Joseph McMonagle III (Robin) and Frank D. McMonagle, one grandson, Adam, a sister, Elizabeth A. D'Abbene (McMonagle) as well as his longtime companion Marion Heaps.  He has many nieces and nephews as well as great nephews.
 
Joe graduated from Norristown High School class of 1951.  He served in the US Army in the Korean War.  He was a Master plumber and he also worked at BF Goodrich.  
 
A memorial service will be held on Friday morning June 16th from 10am to 11:30am at Volpe Funeral Home, Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA.
