Lisa Ann Bihler (Romig), age 58, of Wernersville, PA and Northeast Philadelphia passed away peacefully with her family by her bedside on May 11, after a brief illness. Lisa was born in Norristown, PA on December 28, 1957. She is the daughter of the late Richard H. Romig, Sr. and Janis R. (Lucas) Romig. She is survived by her beloved husband Gerard (Jerry) X. Bihler and her two children, whom she loved dearly: Holly N. (Davis) Hertzog of Sanatoga and Jerry R. Bihler of Reading. In addition, surviving are her two siblings: Karen T. Hall (wife of Jeffrey) of Six Mile Run, PA and Richard H. Romig, Jr. of Doylestown. Lisa has two grandchildren, Andrew Davis and Samantha Stevens, as well as six nieces, one nephew, six great-nieces and two great-nephews. She also has one aunt, Mary Ann T. Lucas of West Norriton Township. Lisa was born in Norristown. She was baptized at Holy Saviour Church and went to Holy Saviour Grade School until her family moved to King of Prussia, where she attended Upper Merion High School. Lisa and her family enjoyed many happy years in King of Prussia, having reunions with relatives and friends at their home. Her higher education included Northeastern Jr. College in St. Davids, PA and Eastern College in Wayne, PA, where she pursued a medical career by earning a degree in respiratory therapy. She held the position of respiratory therapist for a number of years at the former Sacred Heart Hospital in Norristown. Lisa was a classy lady who loved good times, high fashion and the New Jersey shore --Cape May in particular. She lived there for a short time in the 1990s, basking in the sunshine and trying to complement her blonde hair and blue eyes with the perfect tan. In recent years, she lived in Northeast Philadelphia and then moved to Wernersville to be closer to her family. Funeral arrangements are as follows: Family will receive relatives and friends at Holy Saviour Church, 407 East Main Street, Norristown. Viewing will be held beginning 8:45 A.M., followed by a funeral mass at 10 A.M. Burial will be private. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Volpe Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the ASPCA or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
