Lorraine Stemmler

Lorraine (Smith) Stemmler passed away on Saturday January 28, 2017 of natural causes at Meadowood Senior Living in Worcester. She was 84. Lorraine worked at a variety of jobs including Telecommunication Analyst and Forms Analyst. She loved cats, photography, travel, and playing bridge. She was born on September 30, 1932 in Kankakee, IL and was the daughter of the late Carl and Helen (Brock) Smith. She was a loving mother to John (Suzanne) Stemmler, and Cathy Stratoti, as well as loving Grandmother to Kimberly and Matthew Stratoti. Her remains will be cremated and scattered at a future date in a private ceremony. Any donations in her memory can be made to the North Shore Animal League, 25 Davis Ave, Port Washington, NY 11050.
