Marie (Marinello) DiGioia

Marie (Marinello) DiGioia passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. She was 89. 
Mrs. DiGioia  of Normandy Farms Estates, Blue Bell was a member of Holy Saviour Church.
Marie was a member of the craft and card clubs of Normandy Farms. She enjoyed painting, cooking, going to the shore and spending time with her family.
She was born in Norristown on November 14, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Antonio and Teresa (Bono)
Marinello. She was the wife of the late Anthony DiGioia Sr. She is survived by her son, Anthony (Karen) DiGioia and daughter, Patricia (Phil) Gambone. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Wanda Marinello; five grandchildren, James, Stephen, Mark, Andrew and Kristen; four great-grandchildren, Stephen, Annabella, Alyssa and James. She was predeceased by her son, Richard, two brothers, Gus and Stephen; three sisters, Mary Buttaro, Betty Voiro and Theresa Evanik.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Monday, April 18 at 10 AM in Holy Saviour Church, Norristown. Burial following mass at St. Denis  Cemetery, Havertown. Friends may call Mondayfrom 9 to 10 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Rosenfeld Cancer Center of Abington Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements are by the Volpe Funeral Home, Norristown.
