Nicholas John Karisko, 35, left his loved ones suddenly on August 5, 2017 when he lost his battle with the horrific disease of addiction. He was born in Bridgeton on November, 16, 1981 and grew up in Millville.

He was a 2000 graduate of Millville High School. He participated in Jazz band playing sax and trombone. He excelled at sports where he won state titles in pole vault, was varsity track all 4 years. He participated in many youth group sports under the guidance and coaching of his stepdad, Roger Parkin.

Nic was always driven to excel, pushing himself to become better at any endeavor he set his mind to. He was remarkably talented at everything he did. He was an especially accomplished bowler having bowled more then 30 perfect games over his lifetime.

He was a mason/brick layer by trade and a Jack of all trades. He was the ultimate self learner who was curious to know more and compelled to strive for excellence.

Nic left an enormous and positive footprint in which virtually hundreds of his friends and family dwell.

He will be sadly missed and leaves behind his mom and stepdad, LuAnn and Roger Parkin, his dad and stepmom, Doug and Sue Karisko.  He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Michelle and Lee Heckendorn, Doug and Patti Spencer, Bill and Sherri Spencer, Mick and Kathy Karisko, Joe Burns, and Sharon Taylor.
