Raymond "Ray Ray" Martarelli

Raymond Martarelli (Ray Ray) passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Inglis House where he resided for 53 years. He was 74 years old.  He was born in Norristown on February 25, 1941 and was the son of the late Salvatore and Carmelita (Couchara) Martarelli.  He is survived by his two sisters, Sally Reid, wife of Barry Reid and Olympia Delmoro, wife of Sandy Delmoro. Four nieces Paula Moreira, Dana Koniewicz, Sydney Reid, Marlin McCarthy, one nephew Barry Reid Jr., 4 great nieces & 9 great nephews. Ray Ray loved music, sports, his H.E.C. (Handicapped Encounter Christ) retreats, his H.E.C. family and his Inglis House family.  Ray Ray was God’s gift to our family.  He enriched our lives with his joy and laughter. Taught us love, compassion and patience. He will now spend eternity with The Lord and his mother and father and we are grateful for the years we had him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday, August 3 at 1:30pm at the Inglis House, 2600 Belmont Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19131.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions made to “Inglis House Foundation” 2600 Belmont Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19131 or “Handicapped Encounter Christ” 2455 Hunterbrook Rd., Yorktown Heights, NY 10598.
