Rita L. Yankanich

Rita L. Yankanich, of West Norriton, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2016.  She was 78 years old.  Born on October 5, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ethel (nee Brown) Lanigan and the beloved wife of her late husband Daniel Yankanich.  Rita was a 1957 graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, shopping, watching football games and was very strong in her faith.  Loving and devoted mother of daughters, Judy Sjostrom (Brian) and Patrice Bellamy with long-time companion Paul Carragher and cherished grandmother to 4 granddaughters Kati Ferrier (Ryan), Julie Sjostrom, Maura Bellamy & Danielle Bellamy.  She is also survived by her sister Donna Guardino (Frank) and was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Dolores Lanigan, Joan LaBella, Shirley Bruni, and brother Paul A. Lanigan, Jr.

Her family was everything to her and she will be missed dearly.
