Robert Clemens

Robert Clemens, 74, born on November 16, 1942, died peacefully at Genesis Rehabilitation Center in Norristown on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Robert is survived by his children, Lynn Borden (Patrick), Robert Clemens, his grandchildren, Carmen Ronca (Valerie), Meredith Consono, great grandchildren, Austin, Jacob, Tyler, and Alexis Ronca, great granddaughter Jordyn, and sisters Joan Johnson, Nancy Armstrong, Judy Horvath.  Robert grew up in the Norristown area where he raised his family with his loving wife (Margaretta) who was waiting for him in heaven along with his parents Harold and Margerite, daughter Cindy, grandson Robert, and his brother Harold. Robert was a hard working plumber and owner of E. W. Clemens Plumbing and Heating in Norristown. He was an avid fisherman and hunter in Potter County, and belonging to the Jefferson Hunting and Fishing Club of Norristown for many years. He was also a long time member to the MaennerChor in Norristown where he enjoyed the company of his friends after a hard day at work. Robert was not a veteran but loved his country and our military. He donated money throughout the years to numerous veteran groups because of his love and respect for the military. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed entertaining them with his late wife at their old Hoover Avenue home. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, Uncle, and friend. He will be missed by many but never forgotten. Relatives and friends my call on Tuesday November 7 from 9AM-9:50AM in the chapel at Limerick Garden of Memories, service to begin at 10AM.  In Lieu of flowers please donate to the local VFW in King of Prussia in his memory.
