If you are about to discard an old pair of shoes, stop. Consider, Sandra Carol Brandt ( you probably know her as Sandy) who entered the pearly gates on Thursday August 18, 2016. Her spirit is carried on through her 5 children. If you knew Sandy, her favorite pastime was shopping. Thus why I said consider her before you discard an old pair of shoes. Cause she would try to justify some use for it. In addition to shopping Sandy loved watching soap operas. General Hospital and Days of Our Lives were amongst her favorites. Aside from that Sandy enjoyed giving to others. She would have elaborate baskets made for friends and family. The contents were always objects chosen with tender, loving care. Above all, Sandy wrote, to everyone, about everything. You may read this and recall a letter from her that touched your heart, tickled your funny bone, or maybe made you say "huh?" She is survived by her 5 children whom she cherished: Aaron, Elijah (or Elisha as she would say, while he called her Marsha.), Anya, Joshua and Isabella. Friends (and strangers she would love to have met) can visit with Sandy's family at Volpe Funeral Home on Thursday August 25, from 12 to 1 pm.
