Thelma J. McCaughey

Thelma J. McCaughey passed into glory on January 29, 2016 after a long battle with colon cancer.  Thelma was 79 years old.  Mrs. McCaughey was a retired assembler and former employee of Southco, Inc. in Concordville, PA.  She was a sports enthusiast and avid fan whose interests included baseball, tennis, basketball, and football.  Preceded in death by her husband, William R. McCaughey, she is survived by her two daughters Bonnie J. Cassey of Waynesville, NC and Wendy E. Kinsey of Norristown, PA and four grandchildren, Thomas N. Cassey, Michael R. Cassey, Sara B. Kinsey, and Emily J. Kinsey.  In lieu of flower, the family asks that donations be sent to Fight Colorectal Cancer, 1414 Prince Street, Suite 204, Alexandra, VA  22314 or visit give.fightcrc.org.  A Life Celebration Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1441 Pine Street, Norristown, PA.   We encourage attendees to wear their favorite sports team shirts.
