Zola Ostrander

Zola (King) Ostrander, wife of the late Myron D. Ostrander, of Jeffersonville, died March 25th at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Zola was born on July 28, 1919, in Wentworth, New Hampshire, to the late Zoe (True) and Auguste King. Zola was a homemaker but briefly worked at the former Danny's Diner and Levine's Fabric Store. She loved her family, her friends and her church family and will be greatly missed by all of them. She enjoyed time with her family, trips back to New Hampshire to visit family and friends, sewing and knitting. She is survived by one son, William Ostrander (Janice), Benicia, CA; two daughters, Bonnie Jones (Lawrence), Wentworth, NH, and Becky Comer (Lee), Gilbertsville, PA, a daughter-in-law, Helen (Mirrione) Ostrander, Santa Clara, CA, ten grandchildren, Matthew Jones, Michael Jones, William Jones, Susan Ostrander, Dawna Mencimer, Peter Ostrander, Katie Taylor, Tomas Ostrander, Dana Tyson and David Tyson, ten great grandchildren (Aryahna, Jacob, Jesykah, Camden, Madeline, Kelton, Jack, Allison, Natalie and Rose) and her beloved dog Kodie. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Marion King, Wentworth, NH, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Peter K. Ostrander (Helen) and David M. Ostrander and two brothers, Paul T. King and John M. King. A Celebration of Life will be held at Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church, 1921 West Main Street, Jeffersonville, PA, on Saturday, April 1st, at 11:00. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church, 1921 West Main Street, Jeffersonville, PA 19403, or the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 East Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
