Anna Marie Arena

Anna Marie (Ann) Arena passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at the age of 78. Ann was a member of Saint Helena Church in Blue Bell and was actively involved in the Ladies of Helena. Born on April 26, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Natale & Frances (Termine) Uriani. 

Ann was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the wife of the late John Arena, whom she loved with all her heart and couldn’t wait to be reunited with again. She centered her life on her family and friends. Her three daughters are Valerie (John) Berry, Carol (Robert) Carr and Christine Arena. She was lovingly known as Gams to her three grandchildren Joseph, Julia and Padraic. They would tell you she was highly acclaimed for being the best soup and pasta maker. She never felt prouder when her grandson told her he felt like he was eating at a 5-star restaurant. Many of Ann’s friends and family also referred to her as the sister they never had. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Thursday, March 21st at 10am at Saint Helena Church, Blue Bell. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday morning from 9 to 10 am at the church. Family request in lieu flowers memorial contributions can be made in the form of mass cards.
