Arthur “Art” William Fulmer II passed away peacefully at Einstein Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, Pennsylvania, on March 9th, 2018 at the age of 71. Art is survived by his devoted wife, Rosemary (Valincius); his daughter, Kimberly and husband Joseph; his daughter-in-law, Laura; his two grandchildren, Stephen and Amanda, and a step granddaughter, Kylie; his great-grandson, Nathan; his brothers Robert “Bobby” and wife Mary Lou, and Joseph. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Rosalieann and husband Monte, Doloris and husband Ted, Sandra and husband Frank, and Doris. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur I and Teresa; his son, Arthur III; his sister, Teresa; and his brother-in-law, John.
Art was born on August 6th, 1946 in Norristown, Pennsylvania to Arthur I and Teresa (Peppereli). He graduated from Conshohocken High School in 1965 and was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Rosemary (Valincius) in 1970. They joyously welcomed their two children into their home and Art taught them to love the outdoors. His family remembers him as the person to go to if you need help or a good laugh.Art was an avid outdoorsman and often brought home fish and venison for dinner. He greatly loved his family and cherished spending time with them fishing and hunting. He is widely known for his famous deer jerky. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, March 13th, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Norristown, Pennsylvania. A Mass in his honor will be held, following the viewing, at 11:00 am at the church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Art’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send Mass cards or contributions to Rosemary. Contributions will be used to help build an education fund for Art’s great-grandson, Nathan.
