Daniel Michael Yasich passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018. He was 88. Daniel, of Collegeville, was a member of Visitation BVM Church. He was an avid bowler, tennis player, and polka dancer. Daniel was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1957 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a retired patent examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Arlington, VA, a position he held for 30 years.
Daniel was born in Jessup, PA, on June 8, 1930, and was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Duchak) Yasich. He was the beloved husband of the late Eduvigis "Flo" (Flojo) Yasich. He is survived by his son, Michael G. Yasich; four sisters, Dorothy (Edward) Matyas, Mary Ann (Thomas) Farrell, Olympia (Dale) Wark, and Barbara (Paul) Connelly; and three grandchildren, Lukas, Jade, and Alexander.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Saturday, July 28, at 10 AM in Visitation BVM Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd, Norristown, PA 19403. Burial will then take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
His viewing will be held on Saturday from 8:30 to 9:45 AM at the church.
