Dolores (Thomas) Stachovsky

Dolores ( Thomas) Stachovsky peacefully passed away on February 24, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was 88. Dolores was born on July 24, 1929 in New York City, New York to Mary (Zakaluznig) and Richard Thomas and spent her childhood with her 4 siblings in Washington State. She moved east to New Jersey, where she married Walter Stachovsky in 1957. She had two children, Paula and John. She was a civil servant, waitress and a wonderful homemaker.

Dolores loved her family and cherished spending time with them. She loved horse racing, crocheting, cooking, and traveling, especially trips to the Jersey Shore and New Orleans. She crocheted many gifts for the ones she loved. She was a creative person; optimistic and enthusiastic about life, a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula and son in law Kevin Sr., and her grandchildren Kevin Jr. and Joseph. She is also survived by her daughter in law Jeanne, grandchildren, Alex and Katie, and her great grandchildren, Alice and Emma. She was predeceased by her son, John Stachovsky of Slidell, LA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Wednesday, February 28 at 1 PM from the Volpe Funeral Home 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Rd., East Norriton. 
Friends may visit from 12 to 1pm
at the funeral home.
