Elizabeth Ann Borzillo

Elizabeth Ann Borzillo, age 98, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2018.  Aunt Betty, long time resident of Norristown, Pa will be forever remembered by her lovely smile and selfless life; as the dedicated companion to her sister Ida who passed away 5 years ago at the age of 97.  A graduate of Norristown High School, Aunt Betty began her work life at the Logrip rug factory on Norristown’s Main Street.  After the factory closed, she worked at the Sandy Hill Genuardi’s deli counter for almost forty years.  Even after retirement she spent several years helping her dear friend Eva Mashett, owner of Eve’s Lunch. 

Aunt Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Pasquale and Angeline Borzillo, a sister Ida M. Borzillo, and brothers Anthony (Woody) Borzillo, Charles Borzillo, and William J. Borzillo. She is survived by her sister Helen (Borzillo) Giovannini of Trooper, a sister-in-law Mary (Arena) Borzillo of Malvern, and 4 generations of Borzillo nieces and nephews who adored her. Memorials may be made in her honor to The National Center for Padre Pio, Barto, Pa.

Relatives and friends may call Friday March 23, 2018 from 9AM-10AM at the Holy Saviour church, Norristown. Funeral mass will follow at 10AM.  Burial will be private.
