Evelyn Louise Harper

Evelyn Louise Harper went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 7, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. 

Evelyn affectionately known as “Mama E” was born on November 30, 1957 in Miami, Florida. She was the daughter of the late T.J. Harper and Bertha (Jones) Harper, she was 61years old.

Evelyn graduated from Miami Edison Senior High School, then continued her education and received her Associates degree from Miami Dade Community College, Miami, Florida 

Evelyn accepted Christ at an early age and in 2014 was ordained as a church Elder of Jehovah Shammah “His Presence” Ministries in Sellersville, PA where she served faithfully until her death. 

In 1985 Evelyn moved to Philadelphia, PA and was employed at Merck Sharp and Dome Pharmaceuticals for 22 years, where after becoming ill, she retired.  

Evelyn is survived by her two beautiful daughters Antonia Green and Evelyn Nicole Green and one handsome and charming grandson, Noah Anthony Alston, all of East Norriton, PA

Three sisters Melody Bines (Dennis), Mae Eva Washington and Elaine Roberson.
One brother Tommy Harper, all of Miami, Florida 

Predeceased by two brothers Thomas Harper Jr. and Henry Samuels. One sister Jessie Mary Walker.

Two very special nieces, Valerie Bines and Desiree Henry of Miami, Florida. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the Volpe funeral home, Norristown. VolpeFH.com
