Frank Aloia of Trooper, PA died peacefully and by his family’s side Friday March 24, 2017. He was 88 years old. Frank was born in Delaware County, PA to the late Antonio Aloia and Mille (Wren) Aloia, survived by his sister Midge (Aloia) Gambone. Frank was a veteran of the Korean War Conflict and a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. Frank’s professions ranged from a Postal service work, to umpiring baseball, to bus driver, to a bartender for the V.F.W. In his free time, Frank enjoyed lunch dates at Lou’s (of Norristown), watching baseball games, and spending time with his family. Frank is survived by his loving partner of forty years, Laura DeCicco, his daughter, Debbie, and three sons, Frankie, Joe, and Michael. Frank also leaves behind his caring grandchildren: Chris, Amber, Kaitlyn, Stacie, and Casey. Frank also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services at Volpe Funeral Home at 707 W. Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA 19403 on Tuesday, March 28. The viewing will begin at 8:30 AM, followed by a service beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial Valley Forge Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
