Janet S. Wilson, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in the Willowbrooke Court community at Normandy Farms Estates in Blue Bell. Mrs. Wilson was born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia on September 20, 1933 to Stanford L. and Helen S. Stevenson, Sr. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her loving brother Stanford L. Stevenson, Jr. (wife Eleanor) of Lansdale. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1955 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and taught elementary school before beginning a family of her own. Janet was the beloved wife of the late David R. Wilson Sr. She is survived by her two sons David R. Wilson Jr. (wife Debra Waltz), Robert M. Wilson and daughter Carole W. Forbes. She was predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth W. Enos. Mrs. Wilson is also survived by 11 grandchildren who she loved and adored including Lauren Forbes, Randall Forbes, Chrissy Forbes, Leighann Enos, Krystin Enos, Shaun Enos, Robert Wilson, Molly Wilson, Ryan Wilson, David Patrick Wilson and Matthew Wilson. Mrs. Wilson dedicated her life to nourishing the people around her with love and faith. Since 1960, she was a faithful and active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Springfield. During her ministry, Mrs. Wilson taught Sunday school, served as a Church Deacon and a Session Elder. She led bible study and provided leadership for many years to an active group of “new mothers” (Circle 5). Mrs. Wilson was also active on the Music & Worship committee within the church providing leadership to enrich the worship experience through music. A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Wilson’s life will be held on Saturday February 16 at 1:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Springfield (1710 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA 19031). Rev.
