Katherine Fioravanti

Katherine (Paravati) Fioravanti passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8,2012 in Mercy Suburban Hospital. She was 88.
Mrs. Fioravanti, of Bridgeport, was a member of our Lady of Mt. Church, Bridgeport.
Katherine enjoyed cooking, gardening and babysitting.
She attended the Upper Merion schools.
She was born in Port Kennedy, Pa. on July 3, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Rizzuti) Paravati.
She was the wife of the late Victor Fioravanti.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ann Smith; her nephew, Ernie Paravati; five brothers: John,Frankie, Joe, Paul and Tony; five sisters: Betty Loiero, Theresa Rose, Rose Butera, Felicia Schwartz and Rachel Franklin; five grandchildren: Elyse, Katrice, Lindsey, Jason and Jennifer; and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Victoria Fioravanti, who died on Sept. 22, 1981; and two brothers, Paul and Dom.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. from the Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road, East Norriton. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
