Kathleen vanBeekom

The Moulton and vanBeekom families announce with great sadness the loss of their loved one, Kathleen Cecilia (Moulton) vanBeekom. Kathy was born on July 21, 1965 and raised in Conshohocken, PA. She was a 1983 graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. As a young woman she moved to Comstock Park, MI, where she met Steven J. vanBeekom. They married on September 25, 1987, in Grand Rapids, MI, where they settled and raised their family.

Kathy enjoyed and excelled at internet marketing while working from her home as her boys grew. She was an avid proponent of walking for health maintenance and led by example as she walked miles almost everyday. Her other interests included jewelry making, reading, writing and web design.

Kathy was pre-deceased by her son, Jayson,  her mother, Helen, and her sister, Bonnie. She is survived by her sons; Dennis, RAF Croughton, UK, Steven C. (Amy) and family of Sparta, MI, and Josh (Jill) and family of Hudsonville, MI. She is survived by her father, Richard H. of Conshohocken, her siblings; Richard K. (Diane) of Conshohocken, Beth of Audubon, Sandy (Bob) of North Wales and Mike (Shelly) of Bowling Green, OH and her niece, nephews and their families.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Sanctuary United Methodist Church, 1346 East Prospect Avenue, North Wales PA 19454, with a luncheon following at the church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Kathy’s name to the Conshohocken Free Library, 301 Fayette St., Conshohocken PA 19428.
