Lynne DiGiacomo Obituary

Lynne (Yolanda A. Gillette) DiGiacomo passed away on January 2, 2020 after a short illness.
Lynne was married to Raymond G. DiGiacomo and they made their life together in Blue Bell.
Raymond preceded her in death in April 2004.
She was the daughter of the late Michael and Rafaella (DeSimone) Gillette.

She was a great cook, some her specialties included "gravy" and meatballs, pound cake and pumpkin chiffon pie.
She was a friend to everyone she met and loved her family dearly, as they loved her. She was the "matriarch" of a friends group of sixty seven years that met monthly. After attending Eisenhower High School, Lynne worked at Lee's Carpet Mill.
She met Raymond after World War II, raised her family and returned to work as an accounting clerk at US healthcare, retiring at the age of 75.

Lynne grew up on Basin Street in Norristown with her family and was called Lindy by young school friends. She was predeceased by brothers Alfred, Patrick and Ralph and sisters, Anna Lincoln Kilgore and Edythe Talbot.

Lynne is survived by her son Raymond R. DiGiacomo of San Bernardino California. Her daughter Edie DiGiacomo, (Terry Malason), of Horsham and Predeceased by her daughter Adrianne (Dana) Williams. Affectionately called Mommom, her grandson, Michael Fondots (Tarah) and granddaughter Leayn Rippert (Tommy) and great- grandchildren,  Brooklyn, Charlie, Ellie Fondots and Violet and Pearl Rippert were also by her side when when she went to her peaceful resting place. She's also survived by nephews, nieces and many grandchildren throughout the country.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
