Mary Clara English Falco of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 3 at the loving home of her son, Frank Falco, and daughter in law Regina of Kennett Square, PA. She was 92.
Born December 5, 1924 in Wilkes Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Eugenia (DiBiase) English. Along with her family, Mary moved to Norristown, PA when she was 12 years old and later attended Norristown Are High School where she excelled in academics and played on the field hockey team. After graduation, she started her career in public relations at the Valley Forge Medical Center and Hospital.
Mary met her future husband, Michael Albert Falco, while riding on the train one day. They married at Holy Saviour Church and honeymooned in Italy, the first of their many travels to Europe, the Caribbean, Canada, and throughout the U.S.
Mary and Mike together built their dream home. After their first born child, Michael A. Falco, Jr. of York, Mary became a homemaker and devoted wife and mother to her growing family. She made the best homemade pasta and pizza, attended all her children's sporting events and activities, made her Whacky Cake for fundraisers, and in life's craziness found time for herself—practicing yoga, reading suspense novels, watching her favorite Western drama series and learning the latest on health and wellness. Mary was also an active member of the Women's Club of Norristown and a devout Catholic. She lived a long and wonderful life.
Mary is survived by her two sons Michael and wife Holly, Frank and wife Regina, her daughter Adriana Falco of Glenmoore; six grandchildren: Melissa Anthony of St. Louis, Michael Otis of Atlanta, Cassandra Otis of Providence, Austin Falco of York, Andrew and Isabella Falco of Kennett Square; 14 nephews; 8 nieces; 18 grand nephews; 14 grand nieces; 13 great grand nephews; 26 great grand nieces; and one great great grand nephew.
