Peter B. Ayoub passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.
He was 74. Mr. Ayoub of Bryn Mawr was a retired aeronautical engineer and inventor for the Department of Defense, and during his tenure was awarded four patents for ejection seats on fighter jets. Peter enjoyed spending his retirement with family, walking his two dogs, and presiding over the Church Council at the local Church.
He was born in Jerusalem on September 13, 1943 and was the son of the late Bishara and Jameelah (Batshon) Ayoub.
He is survived by his beloved wife Ghada (Aranki) Ayoub.
One son Peter and two daughters Jennifer and Brigitte.
Three brothers Basim, Marwan, Ghassan, and one sister Siham. Relatives and friends are invited to join his family on Friday, August 10 for funeral services. Viewing is from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, and the Funeral Mass begins at 11 AM at the Saint George's Church in Upper Darby.
Burial will follow in St. Peter and Paul cemetery.
