Randy Hoffer

Randy Hoffer passed peacefully with family by his side on Monday, Septmember 18, 2017. He was 68 when he lost his heroic fight with cancer. Randy was born on July 19, 1949 to the late Lawrence and Ramona Hoffer in Rhode Island.  Randy graduated from Damascus High School, Maryland in 1967 and studied briefly at Towson University. Randy was a self-employed surveyor who also worked for the City of Baltimore and the Environmental Protection Agency at various points of his life. 

As a music lover he owned two music stores, enjoyed following Rod Stewart with friends and made an impression on everyone he met.  He carried his hippie lifestyle with him his whole life with his long hair, bold colors and walking to his own beat and writing his own song while looking out for others. Anyone that knew Randy knew he loved practical jokes and his sense of humor will be missed.  He spent his free time as a life-long Cleveland Indians fan.

Randy is survived by his daughter Jennifer Angelucci and her husband Jim, his grandchildren Allyson, Lauren and Marley who fondly called him Meatball, his brother Dave Hoffer (Baltimore), and his sisters Robin Hoffer (Colorado) and Laura Hoffer (Colorado).

In lieu of services, family will be planning a gathering at a later date.
