Rebecca Galambos

Rebecca Thomas Galambos passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 14, 2019 with family by
her side. She was 65.
Becky was born on May 17, 1954 in Los Angeles, CA to Richard Thomas and Barbara Benson
Thomas. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at Southern Illinois University in
Carbondale, IL. On May 6, 1978 Becky married Istvan Galambos in Philadelphia, PA. They
enjoyed 41 years of marriage and raised two sons, Peter and Marton, and one daughter,
Brigitta.
Becky was a sweet, caring person who enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends.
Also she had a deep appreciation for the arts and nature. She loved gardening, watching birds,
and playing the mandolin. For work she was employed by Heraeus Inc. with over 20 years of
service working as a Laboratory Technician.
Becky was preceded in death by her father Richard. She is survived by her mother Barbara,
brother Chip, sister Laurel, husband Istvan, sons Peter and Marton, daughter Brigitta, and
grandchildren Ellie, James, Preston, and Mason.

Relatives and friends are invited to St. Helena Church on Tuesday July 23, 2019 from 9AM-10AM at the church.

Funeral Mass will follow at 10AM.

Family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon following the service at the William Penn Inn.
