Rita M. Furey

Rita M. Furey passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018. She was 96. Mrs. Furey, of Jeffersonville, was a member of Visitation BVM Church.
Born on April 4, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Marie (Romano) Carbo.
Wife of the late Alfred A. Furey.
Surviving are her daughter Kathryn A. Furey, son Michael E. (Wife-Mary) Furey, and her grandson Michael Nicholas Furey, who was the light of her life.
Predeceased by her daughter Elaine M. Furey, brothers John Carbo and Albert Carbo, sisters Angeline Iacovelli, Anna Carbo, Rose Carbo, and Alberta Flamini.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 8 at 9:30 AM at Visitation BVM Church.
Burial at St Patrick's Cemetery.
Family will receive relatives and friends from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the church before the Mass.
