Alexander A. Piermani Jr., born September 12, 1928, to Alexander A. Piermani, Sr., and Rose (Sperlunto) Piermani, in Conshohocken, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 28, 2022.
Mr. Piermani, known as Alex or Al, resided in East Norriton, PA, was kind, generous, and a family man who had a presence in East Norriton and Conshohocken, taking great pride in owning and operating A. Piermani and Sons Beverage Distributor, a Conshohocken institution in business for 77 years, this upcoming St. Patrick's Day. Alex was an active participant in the Malt Beverage Distributors Association.
Al loved and cared for his family, community, and country. Al served in the United States Army and, as a veteran, was a proud member of the American Legion Post 0355. Alex was active in the Boy Scouts, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Conshohocken, serving as President in 1958, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus fourth-degree assembly 934 in Bridgeport. He and his wife joined the fight against cancer, volunteering for the American Cancer Society.
Alex enjoyed bowling, dancing, and being an avid gardener honing his cooking skills for his family tradition, Monday evening dinner. One of his children would drive an hour to be there for the banter and his delicious dish "Chicken in Wine Sauce."
Al predeceased by his wife Amelia (Strizziere) Piermani, and son Alexander A. Piermani III is survived by his daughter Joan (Jeff) McQuade, son David (Nancy) Piermani, daughter Amelia Piermani, and daughter Lori Ann (Steven) Pirollo, grandchildren Jackie, Melissa, Michael, Warren, Amelia, Alexandra, Sarah, and Noah, great-grandchildren Callie, Dylan, Brianna, Austin, Audrey, Luke, Jude, and Sidney.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation starting at 10 AM, which will be followed by an 11 AM service on Tuesday, March 8th, at Saint Helena Church, Blue Bell.
