Alice Mae Bridge, age 71, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025. Alice was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love, strength, and gentle humor shaped the lives of those who knew her.
Alice’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was raising her three sons — Kurt, BJ, and Dexter. She dedicated her life to them with unwavering commitment, sacrifice, and unconditional love. She was their constant source of guidance, protection, and encouragement, and she continued that same devotion with her grandchildren: BJ, Kyran, and Brandon. Family was the center of her world, and her legacy will live on in the men she raised and the generations that follow.
She will be remembered not only for her loving heart but also for her sense of humor. Alice had a natural ability to bring laughter into everyday moments — whether through a quick-witted comment, a playful tease, or the kind of family stories that will be told for years to come. Her humor was one of her greatest gifts, bringing joy even in difficult times.
Alice is survived by her sons, Kurt (Jasmine), BJ (Dawnikka Williams-Creech), and Dexter Bridge; grandchildren, BJ, Kyran, and Brandon; and siblings, Linette, Sonny, and James. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Herman and Clifton.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Alice’s life on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA 19403. A time of sharing will begin at 10:00 AM. Alice will be laid to rest at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe funeral home.
