Allan Smith Obituary

Allan Louis Smith was born on July 18th, 1956 to the late John W. and Helen L Smith.
Allan grew up in Black Horse, PA and was educated in the Plymouth Whitemarsh school district. While focusing on his school work, he was also a member of the soccer team.

Allan believed and trusted in the promises of God and was baptized as a member of the Jehovah s Witness faith.
Allan wed his sweetheart, Renee, on July 16th, 1979.Together they raised three children, lan, Andre and La'ire.
Dad, Pop Pop, Uncle Allan, Big Al, Uncle Alley, was everyone's go to guy. Ecclesiastes 7:1 says "A good name is better than good oil". Allan worked hard to have just this among his family, friends, and community. If you needed anything fixed, Al was your man. With his HVAC skills from his time with Honeywell paired with his natural gift, he could fix just about anything. I am sure we can all hear him saying "What's happening?" as he smiled his way into the room. Oh that smile! There was rarely a time you weren't greeted with it. Let's not forget about the laugh! LOL, that contagious, Muttley type laugh, it made you want to laugh right along with him. Al loved joking around and was slow to anger, freely giving to those in need whether it be time, money, or advice. He had a loving heart that overlooked shortcomings and focused on the positive. In the words of his friends, "Big Al was a smooth dude!"

Al was predeceased by his parents John and Helen Smith, siblings John W Smith Jr., Rosalie Collins, William S. Smith
He leaves to cherish his memory: three children, lan Ray Loston, Andre Louis Smith, and La'ire Nycole Smith; three grandchildren, Brianna Loston, Jevon Mylik Snyder, and Amora Lei Snyder. Siblings; Joyce Edge (Sam), Jean Guerrant, Mark Smith (Denise), Dorothea Glover, and Victoria Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving family members and friends.
