Angelo Nichele Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Angelo Anthony Nichele of Limerick, Pennsylvania on March 20th, 2025 at the age of 95. He was a devoted husband and loving father. Born on July 9th, 1929 in Niagara Falls, New York, Angelo started working at 14 years old on a regional New York railroad to support his family at a young age. He was a graduate of Trott high school and later was drafted into the United States Army during the Korean War, and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He worked as a manager at Moore Business Forms for 35 years.

Angelo often attended Saint Eleanor’s Church in Collegeville, PA on Sundays. He was also an avid golfer who played like a pro, an exceptional bowler, an animal whisperer, a friend to all, and a true Italian man with a big appetite.

Angelo is survived by his beloved wife Marion Nichele, daughter Michele Vitelli (husband, Robert), son Paul Nichele (partner, Kristy), and his granddaughter, Natalie Vitelli.

He was predeceased by his eldest son Mark Nichele, mother Amabile Revofato, father Valdomiro Nichele, his two siblings Mary Leo and Gino Nichele, and lifelong friend Johnny Scavulli.

Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Wednesday, March 26th, starting at 10 AM and concluding at 11 AM at Saint Eleanor’s Church (647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426) with a Mass to follow at 11 AM. Memorial contributions can be made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York.
