Arthur “Art” J. Pastorious passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2026. He was 82 years old.
Mr. Pastorious of Jeffersonville was a retired chemist who took great pride in his work and enjoyed a life filled with family, friendships, and hobbies he loved. Art was especially proud of his classic GTO muscle car and could often be found attending local car shows. He was a member of the Outer Circle Car club.
He also enjoyed spending time on the golf course with friends and family.
Art was born in Norristown on July 23, 1943, and was the son of the late Vincent and Palma (Romano) Pastorious.
He was the beloved husband of the late Laila Marie (Nungesser) Pastorious.
He is survived by his loving children, Joseph Pastorious and his wife Eileen, and Debbie Ziegler and her husband Rob. He is also survived by his sister, Lisa Stong; his cherished grandchildren, Cortney, Robbie, Tyler, Samantha, Suzanne, McKenna, Liam, and Sean; and eight great-grandchildren as well as number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Edward "Eddie" Pastorious and brother Vincent Pastorious.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial service on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by prayer services and military honors at 3:00 PM. Burial will be private.
