Augustine Interrante Jr

Augustine (Gus) Interrante, Jr passed away suddenly on Friday, June 19, 2026.  Born in Norristown on November 4, 1964, the son of the late Augustine & Elaine (Paolini) Interrante.  Surviving are his beloved dog, Prince, who he inherited from his mom, brother Steven (Paula), sisters Maria Elena Capaldi (Joe) and Valerie, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Although Gus was born deaf, he never let his disability hold him back.  Everyone who met Gus became friends for life!  He lived life to the fullest; traveling, camping, attending classic car shows and making Mom’s homemade Italian soup.  Gus started school at 3 years old, attending the MCIU, PSD and Southwest College for the Deaf in Big Springs, TX becoming a dental lab technician.  Beloved by many people, he made friends wherever he was and always made people laugh.  Gus and his dogs, Skippy and Lily, will be laid to rest with his parents, grandparents, and other relatives.  
 

A memorial service will take place at the graveside in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Norristown, PA on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 1:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life. Donations in his memory can be made to The Montgomery County SPCA 19 E. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA  19428
