Barbara (Kaspar) Gallo

Barbara (Kaspar) Gallo, of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2026, at the age of 82.

Born in Roxborough on January 19, 1944, Barbara was the daughter of the late Cyril “Cy” Kaspar and Ruth (Cahill) Kaspar. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Gallo, with whom she shared her love and devotion.

A member of Holy Saviour Church in Norristown, Barbara found great joy in spending time with family and friends. She loved dancing, traveling, taking trips to the casino, and, above all, caring for and babysitting her grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness to her life.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Gallo; her son, Alfonzo Gallo; her grandson, Joseph Gallo; and her brother, Cyril Kaspar.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Renee DePaul and her husband, Eugene; her son, Richard Gallo and his wife, Rosetta; her sisters, Loretta Consolo and Donna (Bruce) Kerper; her sisters-in-law, Lillian DiNenna and Julie Kaspar; her 13 grandchildren, Ashley, Lauren, Michael, Anthony, Gino, Joey, Alexis, Joey, Dominick, Rocco, Sophia, and Donatella; and her seven great-grandchildren, Gianna, Michael, Naomi, Olivia, Sienna, Geo, and Capri. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Barbara’s life on Thursday, August 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main Street, Norristown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. 

Interment will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery.
