Barbara Ann Heim, known lovingly as BobbyAnn, was born on October 1, 1955, and passed away on May 15, 2026. She was a woman of bright mind, and those who knew her will remember her as intelligent, creative, generous, and quick-witted. She attended Lower Merion High School.
BobbyAnn had her own business refinishing furniture and later worked for Merck & Co.. Her interests were varied, and she pursued them with curiosity. BobbyAnn loved all things history, and she possessed a remarkable knowledge of the subjects that captured her heart.
She found delight in antiques, in refinishing furniture, and in the patient art of restoring beauty to what time had touched. She enjoyed gardening, the great outdoors, museums, and the artwork they exhibited, and she was herself an incredible artist.
BobbyAnn was a true book fiend. She was surrounded by books in her home — books galore — and she read them all. She enjoyed hiking and long walks, and Valley Forge National Historical Park was among the places she treasured. Morris Arboretum & Gardens and Corsons Inlet State Park were also favorites, where she could wander, observe, and breathe in the beauty of nature. BobbyAnn loved animals, especially her beloved cat, Maddy.
She is survived by her siblings, Jerry Novitski, Cindy; Mark Novitski, Nina; Bernadette Novitski; Rebecca Zebrowski, Joe; and Andrea Blyler, Dave. She is also remembered by her nephews, Jason Novitski and Jake Zebrowski, and by her nieces, Erin Novitski, Jill Novitski, and Shannon Novitski. Barbara is also survived by many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Services will be announced at a later date.
