Beatrice Valentine passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2026. She was 97 years old.
A longtime resident of Blue Bell, Beatrice was a long-time member of the Riverton Country Club in New Jersey. She found great joy in music, dancing, and singing, and was especially admired for her exceptional talent as a seamstress. Beatrice generously shared her time and talents with numerous charitable missions, touching the lives of many through her kindness, compassion, and willingness to help others.
Born in Philadelphia on November 16, 1928, Beatrice was the daughter of the late Walter and Nellie (Branka) Quinn.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Valerie Wiedmayer Dever; her beloved sister, Helen Anne “Bonnie” Lawlor; and her brother-in-law, Daniel Meyer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Valentine, her brother, Walter Quinn, and her son-in-law, Joseph Dever.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road, East Norriton. Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be held privately at a later date.
