Bernadine Flannery

Bernadine (Miller) Flannery, 93, passed away peacefully at Blue Bell Place, in Blue Bell, Pa on Thursday, August 15, 2024, She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Flannery, who passed in February, for 70 years.  

Mrs. Flannery was born in Gilberton, Pa. on June 14, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Pauline (Dombroski) Miller.

Bernadine is survived by her two daughters, Janice (Frank) Bucci and Cindy ( Joe ) Costantino.  Seven Grandchildren, Vinnie (Robbe),  Jeremy (Joelle),  Amanda (Mike), Danielle (Steve), Samantha (Steve),  Anthony (Nicole), Kristie (Greg) and 13 Great Grandchildren.

She was predeceased by all 11 of her siblings.  Brothers John, Henry, Joseph, Lewis, Sam and Ralph.  Sisters, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Agnes, Marie and Alberta.

Bernie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She was always ready to lend a helping hand especially when it came to gardening and interior painting of your house.  She was always the happiest when she was with her family, specifically her grands and great grands.  She always had a big smile and an extra tight hug for them all. She will be greatly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, August 20 from 10 to 11:30 AM followed by a prayer service at the Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road in East Norriton, PA.

Entombment will be in St. Patrick's Mausoleum.  Family requested in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Bernadine's memory to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
