Charles G. Falco of Collegeville passed away at the age of 70 on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
Charles was born in Norristown on December 14, 1952 and is the son of Anna Marie (Gesullo) Falco, and the late Charles J. Falco.
Charles spent many, many years as a Forensic Officer at the Norristown State Hospital. His most recent job was with First Student, as a Methacton School bus driver, where he was lovingly known as “Mr. Charlie” by the children.
Charles is preceded in death by his son, Jason Falco. Survived by his wife, Charlotte (Meoli) Falco, Daughters, Alicia Falco and Shana (Michael) Henning, and their Brother, Richard Yanis, who was like a son to Charles, and Stepdaughters, Melinda (Dale) Bautista, Jennifer (Keith) Salamone, and Jessica (Joe) Friendy. Grandchildren, Sophia, Madison, Julian, Jacob, Jocelyn, Scarlett, and Piper.
Charles was a family oriented man, who loved spending time with his loved ones. He loved dancing, and could be found dominating the dance floor with his wife at any event. He had an outgoing personality, with friends far and wide and he would be there when anyone needed him. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, who traveled the world to fulfill his love for animals and nature. From local hunting, that amounted in his homemade jerky that he happily shared, to trips to Namibia, New Zealand, Australia and more. He was knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife conservation, and loved to share his experiences with everyone.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Tuesday, August 15 at 11 AM. Charles’ viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:45 AM at the Volpe Funeral Home 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Rd., East Norriton.
