Chimere Antionnette Gamble passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 41 years old. She did not win her battle with cervical cancer but ultimately the war was won as she was finally able to go home to rest. Now she sits in the hands of God. Our hearts may be broken but our spirits rejoice.
Chimere was born on Friday, January 23rd, 1981 in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1998, She graduated from Canyon High School located in Santa Clarita, California. She also attended College of the Canyons.
Chimere provided for her family by serving. Through severing, she’s collected many lifelong friends and drinking buddies. P.F. Changes, Chestnut 7 and Brittinghams are just some of the “adult high schools” she worked in. Every day Chimere left her family only to be received by her second one.
In her rare free time, Chimere loved to consume all types of media. Criminal-themed tv shows such as “Law & Order” and “Judge Judy”, biographical dramas such as “Ray” and “What's Love Got to Do with It”, and questionable tv shows such as ‘Shameless”, “The Real Housewives” and “Love & Hip Hop”. Chimere had a special palace in her heart for “Frozen” (Let it Go), “Love and Basketball” and of all things Mickey Mouse as apparent to her Fantasia tattoo and eldest’s daughter’s first Halloween costume. Some noteworthy achievements are her shoe collection and 10,278, her highest level in Candy Crush.
Chimere was a devoted mother to Carmen and Mariah Gamble. She was doted on by her parents William and Jacqueline Gamble. She leaves behind four siblings Kayla Vassal (Frank Vassal), Cameron Gamble (Princess Gamble), Tabitha Gamble and Fred Gamble (Jennifer Moseley). She was also supported by a small army of Nieces, Nephews, Uncles, Aunts, her Grandmother Louise Jackson and other relatives and friends. Chimere also leaves behind her loving dogs Banded and Caramel.
Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Thursday, June 23rd at 5:00pm. The address is 640 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444. Brittingham's Pub was kind enough to lend the family their space for the services.
