Claire C. Carfagno passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 31, 1946, in Maryland and grew up in Norristown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Smith) Long.

Claire was married to Joseph Carfagno, and together they raised their family with love and devotion.

A devoted member of Visitation BVM Church, Claire enjoyed dancing, listening to Motown music, shopping, cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles, and celebrating her Irish heritage. Above all, she cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.

Claire is survived by her three children: Joseph Carfagno, Colleen Yashura (husband Scott), and Carla Carfagno (Kelly); her brother Norris Riggin and sister Beatrice Foley; and her three beloved grandchildren, Wyatt, Casey, and Meer. She was predeceased by her brother, Larry Long.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, December 13, from 9 to 10 a.m., at Visitation BVM Church in Trooper, Pennsylvania. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Volpe Funeral Home.
