Constance M. Damiani

Constance M. (Perna) Damiani passed away peacefully at home on September 16th.  Connie was a lifelong resident of Norristown, born  on September 9, 1932 to the late Gerardo and Lena (Mollica) Perna.  She was predeceased by her husband, Frank, and her only sibling Rev. Joseph J. Perna.

She is survived by her children, Marianne (Lou) Staniszewski; Mark (Jen) Damiani; Marilyn Damiani and David (John) Damiani; five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Connie had many talents but her favorites were cooking and baking for anyone and everyone.  Entertaining and feeding people in her home was her specialty.  First and foremost, though, Connie was a wife, mom and homemaker.  Her unconditional love will be missed by all those whom she loved and loved her in return. 

Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 10 to 11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Patrick's Church, 714 DeKalb Street in Norristown.

Entombment will follow at St Patrick's Mausoleum. Connie's family has requested, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Missionary Sisters of Charity 630 DeKalb St., Norristown PA 19401.  Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe funeral home. volpefh.com.
