Daniel Carbo, age 80, passed away from cancer on November 26, 2025, at Jefferson Einstein Hospital. Dan was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Louis and Josephine (Ciccanti) Carbo.
Daniel proudly served his country with honor in the United States Army. He served for 2 years that included a 12 month tour in Vietnam. Dan had a very successful business in the carpet industry for 20 years, however, after a back injury he went to school and received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Philadelphia Textile and a Masters degree in Operations Research from Saint Josephs University.
He then went on to build a respected career as an Engineer with the Quaternion Consulting Firm until his death. He was also a longtime member of the Mt. Carmel Club in Black Horse, where he cherished the friendships and community he found there.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Dolores (Walker) Carbo; his daughter, Danielle (Carbo) Satpathy; his brother, Robert Carbo; his sister, Jane Kohut; and his beloved grandchildren: Grace, Zachery, Christian, Blaze, Lilly, and Ajay.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberlee and his brother, Richard.
Relatives and friends are invited to Daniel’s Funeral at the Volpe Funeral Home on 707 Germantown Pk. in Norristown on Wednesday, December 3rd. Both the Viewing and a Service will be at the Funeral Home from 10 AM till 11 AM with a service starting at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missionary Sisters of Charity, 630 DeKalb Street, Norristown, PA 19401.
