David R Quintrell

David R. "Quint" Quintrell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the age of 67. 

A lifelong resident of Norristown, Dave attended Bishop Kenrick High School.  He worked most of his career as an employee of Pennsylvania American Water company for over 40 years until his retirement. 

Dave enjoyed playing golf and softball, trips to the Jersey shore, and spending time with his family. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Dave was born in Norristown on November 18, 1958, and was the son of the late Raymond and Patricia (Douglass) Quintrell. He is survived by his wife Patricia "Patti" (Pierce) Quintrell.  Daughter Shauna Quintrell (Pablo).  Brother, Jeff Quintrell (Amber). Sisters, Carol Scanlon (Shawn), Deb Hertzog (Wayne), and Joanne Keyser (Ron).   Grandchildren, PJ, Mariesa, Teressa, Lorenzo.  He is also survived by his mother-in-law, brothers-and sisters-in laws, many nieces and nephews, and his four-legged friend and walking buddy, Gabe.  

He was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Quintrell. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dave’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 10:30am to 11:30am followed by a prayer service at the Volpe Funeral Home located at 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road, East Norriton. Burial will be private at a later date.  

Arrangements are entrusted with the Volpe Funeral Home.
