Dolores Elizabeth Connor

Dolores Elizabeth (Bressi) Connor passed away November 9, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was 88 years old. Dolores was born in Ashland, PA on May 18, 1937, to the late Anthony and Bertha (Brennan) Bressi. She was raised and educated in Shamokin, PA and graduated from Coal Township High School in 1955. She was proud of her Irish and Italian heritage. 

While working in the office of Worthington Corporation, she met the love of her life, Joseph. They were married in July of 1957 and had 44 years together. Joseph passed away in April, 2001. Dolores worked in the offices of Crane-Cochrane in King of Prussia for many years and Norman's Hallmark in East Norriton. She loved gardening, crafting and reading and was an avid fan of the Phillies, Eagles and Penn State Nittany Lions.

Those blessed to have been a part of her life and preserve her memory are her cherished children: daughter Mary Anne Shope (Don) of Audubon, son Kevin Connor (Kashmir) of Schwenksville, and daughter Laurie Anne Hunt (DJ) of Schwenksville; eight grandchildren: Elizabeth, Katie, Sara, Austin, Sarah, Collin, Rebecca, and Ryan; eight great grandchildren: Hunter, Gwen, June, Eve, Sebastian, Xander, AnnaBelle, and Rylee.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son Joseph Connor Jr, grandson Eric Shope, sister Lorraine Bressi, brother Joseph Bressi, sister-in-law Carol Bressi, and many dear friends.

Dolores was happiest when she was with her family. She was a loving spouse whose heart never mended when she was parted from her beloved Joseph. She cherished her children and was a doting grandmother who was overjoyed at the birth of each grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Saturday November 15, 2025 at Visitation BVM Church, (lower church) at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
